OpenAI
Executive Innovation Lead, AI Transformation
About the Team The AI Transformation and Innovation team helps senior leaders imagine how AI could reshape their business—and turn the strongest ideas into action. We work in small, multidisciplinary pods that bring together innovation strategy, research, experience design, prototyping, and technical expertise. We help customers look beyond incremental use cases, identify new sources of value, and explore how AI could change their products, services, customer experiences, and ways of working. Our work moves quickly from insight to possibility to tangible proof. We partner with Sales, Solutions, Success, Product, Engineering, and implementation teams to help promising ideas move toward execution. About the Role As an Executive Innovation Lead, you will lead high-impact innovation engagements with CEOs and senior leadership teams. You will help customers explore what is newly possible with AI, identify opportunities worth pursuing, and make future ideas concrete enough to evaluate. You will lead executive discovery, design and facilitate working sessions, guide a multidisciplinary pod, and turn emerging insights into a clear innovation direction. This role requires more than generating ideas. You will help leadership teams make choices: which opportunities matter, what needs to change, what should be tested, and what should happen next. This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who combines strategic judgment, creative thinking, executive presence, and exceptional facilitation. In This Role, You Will Lead innovation engagements with CEOs, executive sponsors, and senior functional leaders. Help customers identify where AI could create new products, services, experiences, capabilities, or business models. Challenge conventional assumptions and help leaders consider possibilities beyond today’s processes and constraints. Design and facilitate executive workshops that move from exploration to clear choices and action. Turn broad ambitions into focused innovation questions and opportunities. Partner with researchers to uncover unmet needs, emerging behaviors, and signals of change. Guide designers and prototypers in making future concepts tangible through experiences, narratives, demos, and prototypes. Connect new ideas to customer value, business impact, operating-model change, governance, and technical feasibility. Lead multidisciplinary pods while maintaining clear roles, decisions, and handoffs. Build compelling executive narratives, opportunity portfolios, roadmaps, and near-term experiments. Create the conditions for productive disagreement, bold thinking, and practical decision-making. Turn lessons from individual engagements into reusable innovation methods, tools, and playbooks. You Might Thrive in This Role If You Have led innovation, strategy, transformation, design, or customer advisory work with CEOs and senior executives. Can help leaders rethink a familiar business problem rather than simply improve an existing process. Are an exceptional workshop designer and facilitator who can move a group from possibility to decision. Balance imagination with rigor and know how to distinguish a promising idea from innovation theater. Can bring structure to ambiguous problems without narrowing the opportunity too quickly. Ask incisive questions and can challenge senior leaders while maintaining trust. Can identify patterns across interviews, observations, market shifts, and emerging behaviors. Turn complex or incomplete information into a clear point of view and a compelling story. Have led teams spanning strategy, research, design, prototyping, technology, and customer-facing functions. Understand how to use prototypes and visual storytelling to test an idea, not simply present it. Are curious about unfamiliar industries and energized by problems without obvious answers. Can collaborate fluently with technical teams without needing to be an engineer. Experience in innovation consulting, design strategy, service design, customer strategy, futures, scenario planning, venture building, organizational transformation, qualitative research, or executive education may be helpful. We value the capabilities you have developed over any particular degree or professional path. By leveraging AI-powered QA tooling, you’ll surface actionable insights, identify emerging themes, and help drive continuous improvements in support quality and team performance. Temporal Technologies
Senior Software Engineer, Compute (Temporal Cloud)
About Us Temporal is an open source programming model that can simplify code, make applications more reliable, and help developers focus on the important things like delivering features faster. We are on a mission to be the reliable foundation of every developer’s toolbox, and are building the team that will make that happen. Our values guide us —they are present in how we show up, make decisions, and work together to make an impact. We’re curious, driven, collaborative, genuine and humble. Temporal is growing and we are looking for those who share our values, challenge 'standard' thinking, and want to influence our future. If you have a passion for improving the developer experience, building world-class open-source software and communities, and want to be a part of our amazing team, we'd love to hear from you! Senior Software Engineer, Compute (Temporal Cloud) Temporal powers durable execution for the world’s most demanding AI and enterprise systems. The Compute team at Temporal makes that durability feel effortless by building the managed compute primitives that run workers and other execution systems across Temporal Cloud. We’re solving a hard platform problem: make compute transparent, elastic, safe-by-default, observable, and multi-cloud — without turning customers into infrastructure operators. We build platform primitives that span a variety of execution environments (e.g., serverless-style runtimes, containerized fleets, and customer-controlled deployments). Our work sits at the intersection of control plane + data plane: scaling decisions, isolation boundaries, multi-tenant safety, and production-grade observability. If you’ve built autoscaling systems, multi-tenant platforms, or cloud infrastructure, you’ll find a lot to love here. See the "Compute team" link to read more --> Compute team - [new window opens] As part of this role, you will: Invent Create new managed compute primitives that feel first-class in Temporal Cloud: crisp abstractions, clean APIs, and an extension story across compute providers. Design self-optimizing autoscaling systems (signals, backstops, debouncing, guardrails) that scale worker fleets safely and predictably. Define the Open Source Server ↔ Cloud boundary for compute capabilities, keeping the architecture cohesive and maintainable. Own Architect, build, and operate services on the hot path of task execution where performance and correctness are customer-visible. Deliver real-world cloud integrations (e.g., customer-account execution): IAM boundaries, secure credentials handling, networking constraints, quotas, and failure modes. Make operability a feature: SLOs, tracing/metrics, load and failure testing, incident reviews, and continuous hardening. Ship end-to-end: API design, rollout strategy, backwards compatibility, and long-term maintenance. Teach Raise the bar through design docs, strong reviews, pragmatic technical leadership, and mentorship. Lead through influence across teams (Server, SDKs, Security, Control Plane) to land coherent platform changes. What you bring Significant experience building distributed systems or multi-tenant platform services (design, implementation, and production operations). Strong systems fundamentals: concurrency, performance, reliability, and failure-mode thinking. A record of shipping platform primitives used by other engineers/customers (APIs, control planes, data planes). Comfort owning outcomes: SLOs, incident response, and improving on-call quality over time. Excellent written communication and crisp tradeoff thinking. (Go experience is a plus; judgment matters most.) Nice to have Experience building cloud infrastructure platforms. Experience with IAM/security boundaries for cross-account execution models. Having built Kubernetes controllers / CRDs or heterogeneous worker fleet operations. Compensation The estimated pay range for this role is $176,000 - $237,600. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan. Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets. Employment offers carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, knowledge, expertise, skillset, market location, and job level assessed during the interview process. Lakeshore Learning Materials, LLC
Manager of IT Security
Company Description At Lakeshore, we create innovative learning materials and world-class guest experiences for teachers, parents and children. Since 1954, we’ve grown into a global community—with a thriving e-commerce business, multiple catalogs, over 50 stores, a peerless national sales force, plus international offices that support our preeminent supply chain division. But today we’re working better, smarter and faster than ever—and setting our sights even higher. We’re building an infrastructure designed for scalability, embracing data-driven decision-making and using technology to improve efficiency and ensure the best tools for the best work. Most importantly, we continue to invest in a diverse team of inquisitive top talent who fuel each other’s passions and curiosity, take risks, try new things and believe that every new day brings opportunities for growth. Job Description Lakeshore Learning's products end up in the hands of millions of children, educators, and families — and keeping those interactions safe starts with the security of our systems. As our Manager of IT Security , you'll lead a team of security engineers and analysts protecting Lakeshore across vulnerability management, incident detection and response, and identity and access management. You'll help shape how we think about security as we grow, partnering across the business to reduce risk and develop a security program that's built to last. This is a remote role; candidates must be able to work effectively in a distributed environment and are welcome to apply from anywhere in the U.S. A day on the job looks like this: Leading, coaching, and developing a team of security engineers and analysts — setting clear expectations, giving direct feedback and building the individual capabilities that make the whole team stronger Guiding your team through the day-to-day work of vulnerability management, incident detection and response, and identity and access management, keeping quality high and risks in check Driving execution of multi-year security initiatives, helping translate strategy into execution and keeping work moving when priorities or conditions shift Partnering with senior stakeholders/leadership to develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, GRC, procedures and plans that reflect where the organization is and where it's headed Evaluating security technologies and controls — from proof-of-concept testing to vendor partnerships — and leading implementation and continuous improvement efforts that measurably strengthen our security posture Spotting the root causes behind technical and operational problems, not just the surface symptoms, and leading your team to solutions that hold up over time Qualifications Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for: Required 5+ years of hands-on experience in information security, with meaningful exposure across multiple domains such as vulnerability management, incident response, endpoint security, or identity and access management 2+ years of experience leading a team of security professionals, including hiring, coaching, performance management and career development Working experience securing both on-premises and cloud environments, with a solid understanding of cloud networking and operations concepts Demonstrated ability to communicate security risks and recommendations clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders Experience contributing to or executing security roadmaps, policies or programs in a growing or maturing organization Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field. CISSP or equivalent security certification 8+ years of experience in information security 5+ years of people management experience in a security or technology function What sets you apart: You give feedback early and often — specific, direct and framed around growth — because you know that's how good teams get better When something breaks, you're wired to ask why it broke before you ask how to fix it, and you bring your team along in that thinking You can hold your own in a room with senior leadership and shift perspectives when the security risk is real — without losing the trust of the engineers you're representing You keep your team pointed at a shared goal even when the work is fragmented, ambiguous, or moving fast Additional Information And here’s our end of the bargain! At Lakeshore, we pay local market wages for employees that reside within Los Angeles and Orange Counties. For employees residing outside of Los Angeles and Orange Counties, pay is based on national market. For this position, new employees joining Lakeshore are typically brought into the organization at a salary rate between $123,000-$185,000 depending on relevant experience & skillset. This range is indicative of projected hiring range. The annual base compensation will take into account each candidate's relevant experience, location, and skillset. Bonus eligible Paid leave for new parents to support work/life balance and family bonding Excellent medical/dental and vision coverage—EPO, PPO and HSA 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution (because you will retire someday) Flexible benefits—choose what you like, ignore the rest On-site preschool for our employees’ children On-site employee gym for all levels/fitness needs Generous employee discount Casual dress…and we really mean it At Lakeshore, we know our diversity makes us stronger, and when everyone feels included and valued, we all win. We strive to embrace our differences and create an intentionally diverse and inclusive community that is representative of the teachers, families and children we serve. We know we couldn’t do the extraordinary things we’re doing without the people on our team. Thanks to the passion and enthusiasm of this spectacular group, Lakeshore is more than a great place to work—it’s a great experience to be part of. Day in and day out, we give everything we’ve got to create products that instill a sense of wonder and foster a true love of learning. OpenAI
AI Support Engineer, Biosciences - San Francisco
About the Team OpenAI’s User Operations team shepherds our customers’ adoption of AI and ensures that our customers' product experience is nothing short of exceptional. We are building the very first post-AGI support team. We resolve complex issues, provide technical guidance, and support customers in maximizing value and adoption from deploying our products. We work closely with Sales, Technical Success, Product, Engineering and others, to deliver the best possible experience to our customers at scale. OpenAI's customers represent a range of diverse backgrounds and maturity, from early-stage startups to established global enterprises. About the Role We are looking for an experienced, hands-on support leader to build and run the support and escalation motion for GPT-Rosalind and OpenAI’s life sciences customers. This is both a builder role and a frontline support role. You will work directly with customers, own complex cases, diagnose technical and operational issues, and coordinate cross-functional teams through resolution. You will also create the intake paths, playbooks, knowledge, tooling, and operating mechanisms needed to support life sciences workflows across ChatGPT, Codex, and the OpenAI API. You’ll partner closely with Account Directors, Product, Engineering and Forward Deployed Engineering, Security, Legal, and bioscience subject-matter experts. You will help customers receive coordinated, accurate answers while maintaining clear boundaries between technical support, scientific consultation, product feedback, and roadmap commitments. This role is an opportunity to define how OpenAI supports scientists and life sciences organizations as they adopt increasingly capable AI systems. In this role, you will: Work directly with Rosalind and life sciences customers, taking ownership of complex technical and operational support cases from intake through resolution. Diagnose and resolve issues involving onboarding, workspace creation, access and permissions, API and organization configuration, model availability, sandbox or environment setup, and other product configuration questions. Support customer workflows across ChatGPT, Codex, and the OpenAI API, including questions about tool access, environment constraints, reproducibility, product behavior, and responsible model usage. Build bioscience-aware intake flows, diagnostic procedures, routing logic, escalation paths, playbooks, response templates, and internal and customer-facing knowledge content. Determine whether an issue requires technical support, workflow enablement, scientific consultation, solutions architecture, product feedback, or another specialized response, and route it to the appropriate owner without losing context or accountability. Coordinate complex escalations across Product, Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Security, Legal, Account Directors, and bioscience subject-matter experts, providing clear handoffs and driving cases through closure. Maintain appropriate boundaries around scientific guidance: support standard Rosalind usage and technical workflows while engaging qualified bioscience experts for novel scientific consultation, research optimization, or domain-specific validity judgments. Identify recurring issues across scientific workflows, specialized tooling, access and provisioning, governance, and product usage, then turn those patterns into durable fixes, better documentation, and product improvements. Build a repeatable customer-feedback loop that captures and synthesizes bugs, product gaps, and unmet needs for the Rosalind, Product, and Engineering teams. Use AI, automation, and lightweight technical solutions to improve triage, routing, case summarization, knowledge management, and support quality. Help define the long-term operating model, service levels, coverage requirements, and specialization strategy for biosciences support. Foster a supportive, rigorous, and customer-focused culture within User Operations. You might thrive in this role if you: Have 8+ years of experience in technical support, support engineering, escalations, technical account management, solutions operations, product operations, incident management, or a related customer-facing technical role. Bring meaningful familiarity with life sciences disciplines or workflows, such as computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, transcriptomics, drug discovery, or related fields. Can rapidly understand and triage questions involving scientific tools and workflows while recognizing when specialized scientific expertise is required. Have experience supporting enterprise customers through complex technical configuration issues involving access, permissions, environments, APIs, security, or governance. Demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, including the ability to investigate novel or poorly defined problems. Communicate clearly and credibly with scientists, platform administrators, engineers, Product teams, Security, Legal, and go-to-market partners. Have a track record of building playbooks, intake systems, escalation paths, knowledge programs, reporting, or other foundations for a new or rapidly scaling support function. Exercise sound judgment when distinguishing among break-fix support, workflow enablement, scientific consultation, product feedback, and roadmap requests. Thrive in ambiguity, create structure where processes and ownership are still emerging, and remain effective while priorities evolve. Build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional partners and can lead complicated issues to resolution without relying solely on formal authority. Are comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, APIs, scripting, or automation to improve repetitive operational work. Approach unfamiliar problems with humility, curiosity, and a willingness to learn whatever is needed to help customers and teammates succeed. Can balance frequent context switching and broad ownership with careful prioritization, clear communication, and consistent follow-through. Preferred qualifications Experience supporting software, data, or AI products used in regulated or security-sensitive scientific environments. Experience working with computational research environments, scientific software, cloud platforms, APIs, or data-intensive workflows. A degree or equivalent practical experience in a life sciences, computational, engineering, or other relevant technical field.
